John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.

Considering how much the devil hates people and how dead set he is on destroying them, it's no wonder we see so much tragedy and disaster in the world. In fact, it's amazing that we don't see more!

I asked the Lord about that one time and He told me it takes the realm of darkness a long time to set up major disasters. Take the aviation industry, for example. It's highly regulated and works hard at policing itself because safety is its product. You take a highly regulated system like that and the devil has to work terribly hard to cause disasters.

He can't just come roaring in and rip things up any time he wants to. If he could, he'd knock every plane out of the sky tonight. But he can't do it.

Why? Because he's bound. The Bible says he's bound to things that are common to man. He has to line up certain things in this natural, human realm before he can lay a finger on you. He has to use people to get his work done.

But, bless God, we're not bound to what's common to man. We're free to use what's common to God! We fight our warfare with uncommon weapons. What does that mean? It means you ought to have the devil wrapped up and sewed up. You ought to put him in a sack with a ribbon on top.

The devil can't cause disaster in your life unless he has been given place. He can't come in and start destroying and stealing from you unless he can get you into a place of sin, doubt, ignorance, or disobedience. So if he's been giving you trouble, ask the Holy Spirit to show you where you've let those things in. Then repent and get rid of them.

Once you've done that, pull out the weapons God has given you and fire away with both barrels. Pull out the Word. Pull out prayer. Pull out faith and use it to tie the devil in knots. Use the uncommon power of God to keep him bound and he won't be able to put anything over on you.     www.kcm.org

  UNCOMMON                            PROTECTION
PROTECTION

"You     who      sit      down      in     the
Most High God's presence, spend the night in El Shaddai's shadow, Say this: "God, You're my refuge. I trust in You and I'm safe!"

That's right—He rescues you from hidden traps, shields you from deadly hazards. His huge outstretched arms protect you— under them you're perfectly safe;

His arms fend off all harm. Fear nothing—not wild wolves in the night, not flying arrows {bullets} in the day, Not disease that prowls through the darkness,  not disaster that erupts at high noon.

Even though others succumb all around,
drop like flies right and left,  no harm will even graze you. You'll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance,  watch the wicked turn into corpses.

Yes, because God's your refuge,
the High God your very own home,
evil can't get close to you, harm can't get through the door.

He ordered his angels to guard you wherever you go. If you stumble, they'll catch you;  their job is to keep you from falling.

You'll walk unharmed among lions and snakes,  and kick young lions and serpents from the path.

"If you'll hold on to Me for dear life," says God, "I'll get you out of any trouble. I'll give you the best of care if you'll only get to know and trust Me.

Call Me and I'll answer, be at your side in bad times;  I'll rescue you, then throw you a party. I'll give you a long life,  give you a long drink of salvation!"  Says The LORD!"

Ephesians 6:10-18
The Message Bible

And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and He wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we'll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the devil and all his angels.

Be prepared. You're up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it's all over but the shouting you'll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You'll need them throughout your life. God's Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open.

One of the ways God carries out your deliverance and your protection is through angels! You literally have angels at your service night and day.  The Bible teaches that they're sent to serve you and keep you safe as you carry out God's Will in your life.

Heb 1:14 Amp says,
"Are not the angels all {servants} ministering spirits, sent out in the service {of God for the assistance} of those who are to inherit salvation?" AMP

The angel of The LORD encamps about those who fear {reverence} God, to deliver them. Psalm 34:7
Your angels stay with you.  They move when you move.

Psalm 103:20-22
Bless The LORD, ye His angels, that excel in strength, that do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His Word.

Bless ye The LORD, all ye His hosts {angels}; ye ministers {angels} of His,
that do HIS pleasure.

Bless The LORD, all His works in all places of His dominion: bless The LORD, O my soul.

Notice the Scripture which says, "Hearkening unto the voice of His WORD."  Hearkening means to listen, to give respectful attention.  Voice means to express in words, to utter. Use God's WORD to put your angels into action.

Isaiah 55:10-12 NLT
“The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth.
They cause the grain to grow,
producing seed for the farmer
and bread for the hungry.
It is the same with My Word.
I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to,
and it will prosper
everywhere I send it.

Employ your angels! Put them to work in every area of your life. Send them ahead of you to prepare your way for your future! Send them with the children while they are out of your sight. Send them to cover your home, vehicles, loved ones, etc... In the Name of Jesus, because it's the Lord's doings and it is marvelous in my eyes. {Ps 118:23 This is favorite Scripture of mine to put my angels to work} Use your angels. They are a gift to you from God!

PUT ON THE ARMOR OF GOD!
Psalm

Ephesians
6:10-18

Psalm 91:11
For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep
thee in all thy ways.

Angel are real! They are big, strong warriors! They are powerful. If you are a believer in the Lord, they are a vital part of your life.

Angels are not just kid stuff. They're powerful spirits sent forth to minister for us who are heirs of salvation.

God has created vast numbers of gloriously powerful spiritual beings for the express purpose of protecting us and delivering us from the evils of this world.

And remember, according to Psalm 103:20, the Word of God is what puts those angels in action. So when you're in trouble, don't cower and cry about how awful things are. Speak the Word! Give your angels something to respond to. Then be patient and let them have time to work. They'll get their job done.
MORE ON ANGELS

Psalm 91:1-3
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, Hr is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

It is possible to live free of fear in this unpredictable and dangerous world. Because protection is a promise of God.

God's promise is not offered to just anyone; His promise is for those who abide in Him!  Abide means to remain, to dwell and to continue.  To abide in the shadow of the Almighty is to live in constant union with Him.  To keep His Word and walk in it by obeying Him. We who abide in the Lord can live without dread of what satan will do.

I need to make it clear though, God's promise of protection does not guarantee that satan will leave you alone! It means that God gives us a way of escape every time the devil comes around you.

If you have fears of the dangers around you, you must spend more time in God's Word and also in prayer. Draw closer to the Lord until you are abiding in the shadow of the Almighty and no matter how dangerous this world becomes, God Will deliver you!

Isaiah 54:17

(The Message)

So be content with who you are, and don't put on airs. God's strong hand is on you; HE will promote you at the right time. Live carefree before God; He is most careful with you.

HE GETS THE LAST WORD!

Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You're not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It's the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won't last forever. It won't be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ—eternal and glorious plans they are!—will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, He does.
